World Languages
Our goal is to introduce students to other languages and cultures so that they may become more informed, involved global citizens.
Following the listen, speak, read and write sequence of language learning, teachers use a variety of instructional methods and tools to help students build communicative skills.
As students progress to higher levels within the department, there are increasing expectations for their oral fluency and written skills. After successfully completing the six year language sequences, students will be prepared to sit for the language advanced placement exam.
