Welcome
It is another great year to be a Dodger! Despite the economic climate, our community has rallied and we look forward to an outstanding year under the guidance of the MHS administration and faculty. The PTSO has an important role and mission at MHS. We work to enhance the operations and environment of our school and promote a close home-school relationship. This is accomplished by involving parents, engaging students, communicating with the administration, and financially supporting select school programs. Click here for our Dues and Volunteer Form which includes a list of current PTSO volunteer positions. We encourage you to print/email this form today and join the PTSO by paying your dues either by check or online via the PayPal Secure Payment page.
We sincerely want the input and involvement of P arents, Teachers and Students. No question is too small or comment unwelcome. Please check our website often for newsletters and updates. Your involvement with our team will make this year a success for your students!
MHS-PTSO Newsletter: In partnership with Greg Robertson, the PTSO produces a newsletter that combines news from faculty, administrators, guidance and school groups, as well as highlighting upcoming class events and fundraisers, volunteer opportunities, and calendar events. The newsletter will be published on the web site during months that the PTSO doesn’t meet.
PTSO Meetings: We have five meetings each held at 7pm in the MHS Media Center. Parents and Students are encouraged to attend on September 28th, November 9th, January 18th, March 7th, and May 9th.
Student Directory: This is a must have for all Freshmen families and is a great tool for anyone within the high school community. The directory was mailed to all paid members' homes and additional copies are available in the main office.
Volunteer Outreach: There are many ways to pitch in, even if you have minimal time available. The Volunteer form lists current opportunities. Look for additional opportunities via e-alerts during the school year.
Ongoing Financial Support for MHS: The PTSO supports MHS by participating in or providing:
