This year I’m playing 5/6 rec, and my dad’s coaching. This is all very exciting, but we are looking for more kids to sign up to play ROOKIE and GRADE 3/4 rec softball. This is for all softball players from last season who have not yet signed up for spring softball. It’s never too late to get into the game of softball. It’s a wonderful team sport that shows that girls are strong too.A team sport is about being strong together, all as one whole and working together to win, but winning isn’t all of it. When you’re a team, it’s not like you’re out there alone. When you’re a team, you have someone to back you up; it doesn’t matter if you make a mistake because you’ll always be a HERO in your teammate’s eyes.I believe that everything that I just said applies to softball more than any other team sport. You win together, you lose together. It’s not just you out there on the field. Softball is a sport where teams can make major comebacks, change the game completely. I should know this because the teams that I have played on have made them together more than once.I hope that everyone that reads this message at least thinks long and hard about keeping softball in your life and your families. ~Josephine Walker, Softball playerRegistration is being offered online only through TeamSnap at: http://madisonsoftball.tea
