March 10, 2017
The excitement is building for our annual musical, Lion King Kids, directed by our music and choral teacher, Dan Malloy, and fifth grade teacher, Tina Smith. Be sure to join us Thursday, March 16th at 7:00 P.M. to see all the hard work come to life! Doors will open at6:30 P.M. and the performance will take place in the Jaguar Jungle. All students will be treated to a special dress rehearsal during school hours that day as well.
The week of March 27th
, in Physical Education, Mr. Gerenstein's classes will partake in Jump Rope for Heart. Jump Rope for Heart is a fundraiser for the American Heart Association. Between now and a week after the event, students can help raise money for the American Heart Association by going to heart.org/jump
or using the pamphlet that will be going home with the students. One of the two PE classes the week March 27th
will be dedicated to heart healthy activities and jumping rope. Students do not
need to raise funds in order to participate in Jump Rope for Heart. Fundraising is completely optional and everyone will participate in this heart healthy event! If you have any questions, feel free to email Mr Gerenstein at firstname.lastname@example.org.
