Meet Mrs. Delaney!

I am so excited to be starting my 8th year teaching, but my 3rd year at Central Avenue School!

I graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2011 with a Bachelors in Creative Writing with a minor in Literature as well as in 2012 with a Masters in the Art of Teaching. I began my teaching career at a private school in Long Hill in 2012. I then moved on to public school in 2014 teaching 2nd grade in Berkeley Heights. I am so excited to be at CAS this school year!

I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband, Jonathan, and our daughters, Makenzie {3 years old} and Adelyn {7 months old}! We have 2 dogs: Bella {Chihuahua} and Hudson {Rottweiler}. They all take up most of my free time, but some hobbies that I enjoy are baking, being outdoors, and reading. I grew up in Florham Park and spent most of my weekends going into Madison. I feel so fortunate to being teaching in a district that was like a second home for me!

I absolutely love teaching and it is my goal to instill a love for learning in my students so that they develop the desire to become life-long learners!
