Dr. Louis Caruso, Principal, Madison Junior School
Dr. Caruso joined the Madison Junior School community as Principal in October 2017. As an educator and parent of three children, he is inspired by the ability to have an influence over students’ development through their years in which they are becoming independent young adults. Prior to joining Madison, he served as Assistant Principal in Pearl R. Miller Middle School in Kinnelon and Principal of John Hill School in Boonton.
As a Principal and lead learner, Dr. Caruso values the opportunities that education can provide. He is a proud Explorer as he graduated La Salle University in Philadelphia with a B.A. in English and Secondary Education. From there, he earned his master’s degree from Montclair State University in Administration and Supervision. Finally, he received his doctorate from Rutgers University in Educational Leadership, Theory and Policy. As Dr. Caruso learns more about MJS and the Madison community, he looks forward to working with staff members, students, parents and guardians towards a shared vision.
Dr. Caruso is the proud father of three young children. His son and twin girls are huge sports fans and love cheering with him for the Giants and the Mets.
