You are cordially invited to join the Madison School District 3 Elementary School Counselors for an evening program, Social Emotional Learning in the 21st Century, An Overview of the Madison School District Elementary Counseling Program. Please mark your calendars to join my colleagues, Brett Levine (KRS) and Michael Shugrue (CAS) and I to discuss the new elementary school counseling curriculum. We will highlight special programs and trends in social emotional character development as it pertains to the elementary school counseling program in our schools. Our next general PTO meeting will be on Wednesday, November 13th @ 11:30am in the TJS art room. Special guest, John LaPierre, will be there to answer questions/concerns about navigating the district website. Our January meeting will be on January 16, 2020 @7:00pm. We hope you will join us to learn more about all the great initiatives the PTO is currently working on.
Too much chocolate, M&Ms, and sweedish fish? Why not donate your extra Halloween candy to the TJS PTO for the Holiday workshop! Nut-free Halloween candy will be accepted from November 4 - 15. Please see the attached flyer for more information. Move information to come on the Holiday workshop, but save the date - December 7th.
Way to go TJS students! During the two weeks of our first TJS Read-a-Thon, our children read for over 160,000 minutes collectively. We are so proud of their hard work! We are currently organizing reward packets and making plans to celebrate their accomplishments. More announcements will be made next week when the website closes.

TJS will be hosting the annual Book Fair on November 20th, 21st, & 23rd. All the information and details are attached. Please Volunteer to help set up/take down the book fair, or help students pick books using this link: TJS Book Fair Volunteer Sign Up

SAVE THE DATE! On Saturday November 23rd at 9:15am the TJS PTO is sponsoring a family fun run/walk. The event will start and finish at Torey J, just in time for all of the special events at the book fair. Run as a family, run with your friends, but come out and support our school!!
