    FAQ:

When does guitar meet? Please fill in your day and time:

    Are there any performances?

The only time you will have to perform will be in front of myself and the class.

Are the books and guitars mine to keep?

No! Your books/guitars are not yours to keep.  You will be borrowing them both for the marking period.  The books should not be written in and should be treated like gold!  I will make appropriate photocopies for you to write on that you will store in your folder.  The books and guitars will not be permitted to be taken home and will stay in the school at all times.  The guitars will stay in the band room and the books will stay in the auditorium.

What else do I need for guitar?

You will need a pencil, eraser, folder and notebook for class each day.  You may find it useful to get a binder so that you can keep everything together.  I will provide guitar strings and picks if needed.

Can I earn extra credit in this class?

Yes! Extra credit can be earned by attending a live musical performance of any kind.  You must bring me a program or ticket stub as well as a 1 page typed reflection of the performance.  The extra credit will be added as 1 point to your overall grade.  You may earn up to three points per marking period for each live performance you attend.

So, what kinds of things will affect my grade?

    Being late

    Unprepared

    Bad behavior

Remember, everyone starts each marking period with an A! Keep it that way!!!
