    WHAT IS NIXLE

Nixle is a nationwide Police Alert system that offers subscribers the ability to receive Emergency Alerts, Advisories and Traffic alerts directly from your local police department.

Subscription is free and you can tailor your alerts to your needs by choosing your towns & municipalities and the medium (text message, email or both) by which you receive alerts.

    HOW TO SIGN UP

    Visit http://www.nixle.com and register.

Locations from which you receive alerts can be added through the Locations tab.  Add as many locations as you want – your house, where your friends and family live, if you have children in schools or programs in other towns – anywhere in the country.

Control how messages are sent via the Settings tab – whether you want all Alerts sent via text message, or only some.

See all your Alerts any time with the Home tab.
