Miss Buonocore Hello!  I am very excited to begin the new school year at CAS!  This is my seventh year working within the Madison School District and being a part of this wonderful community. I've worked at MHS and at MJS as an eighth grade English Teacher for a maternity leave. This is my sixth year working at CAS as a Special Education teacher and I have also taught Fundations Level One.  I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Humanities with a Certification in Elementary Education K-6 and a Master of Arts in Teaching Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. To further my interest in the area of special education, I obtained my Teacher of Students with Learning Disabilities Certification from The College of St. Elizabeth.  I also completed my Level One Certification in the Wilson Reading Program.  I'm very excited to start the new school year!

     Interesting Facts:

I LOVE animals!   My favorite animal is a penguin! During my childhood, I had many different kinds of house pets. Whenever I can, I like to read, exercise and volunteer to help others. Most important to me, is the time I spend with my family, friends and cat, Myles.  I recently got a Betta fish and I named him "Little Red."
