March 2016Dear Parents:
On Saturday, April 9, 2016 we will be hosting the Dodgertown Relay Meet. This is the first of two major fundraisers sponsored by the Madison High School Track Booster Club. Each year we ask our athletes/parents to donate Gatorade and/or bottled water to be sold during the meet in the snack hut. These sales go a long way in helping to keep the costs of the meet down and allows for the Booster Club to generate more money to put back into the program.
We ask that all of the girl track and field athletes provide 1 case (24 bottles) of 20oz Gatorade and the boy track and field athletes provide 1 case (24 bottles) of 16.9oz bottled water to be sold at the Dodgertown Relay Meet. Athletes can bring the donated water and Gatorade to the Physical Education office next to the Athletic Office starting March 28, 2016. All donations need to be dropped off by April 1st.
Additionally, we are seeking help for the Dodgertown Relays in the following way:
- Sign up to work in the snack hut – its fun! Junior high aged students may also help if they wish. We need people from 7 am – approx. 3:00. A SignUpGenius will be sent out for volunteers for different shifts.
- Contribute individually wrapped baked treats. Cookies, brownies, banana bread – we sell these for $1 per package so please package accordingly. Send these in with your athlete on Saturday or drop off at the snack hut.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the parents and athletes for their generosity and support in helping make the 13th Annual Dodgertown Relays a success.
If anyone is interested in helping with the snack hut or helping with any other aspect of the meet please contact Lora Buzinkai at 973-822-0240 or email her at email@example.com.
Thank you and Go Dodgers!
