Mr. Oswin

Mr. Oswin has been teaching at Madison High School for six years, and is devoted to inspiring his students to think critically and enjoy great literature.  He teaches English 11, Enriched English 11, Contemporary Humanities, Science Fiction & Fantasy, and Public Speaking.  As an undergraduate, Mr. Oswin specialized in British Literature, concentrating in the works of Jane Austen and in Arthurian Literature.  He is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Letters program (D.Litt) at Drew University.  In his post-graduate program, he has taken courses in English Pedagogy, Contemporary American Drama, Transatlantic Modernism, and the Graphic Novel.  With a background in Musical Theater Performance and Drama, Mr. Oswin also directs the Fall Dramatic production each year at MHS and leads the Drama and Poetry and Shakesperience Clubs.
