Dear Elementary Parents/Guardians,
We hope you are enjoying these relaxing summer days of August. It is with great excitement that we are planning a full day of school for the 2021-2022 school year. Within the next week, you will receive an official “Welcome Back” school communication. Please see below for some important information in regard to the Teacher Meet and Greets, class placements, and important dates.
Class Placement Information
The 2021-2022 school year class placement information for your child will be available in the Genesis portal on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at 3:00 PM. Next week, you will receive information about required forms that must be completed before you may review your child’s class placement in Genesis. This year, you will find a new consent form pertaining to an important new social emotional learning survey that will enable our professionals to better understand your child and further support their academic, social, and emotional development.
Teacher Meet and Greets
The Teacher Meet and Greets will be held outside on August 25, 2021 (rain date August 26th). The Meet and Greet event is a time for the students and their families to meet their teacher for the new school year. Masks are optional during this outdoor event, however, please maintain at least 3 feet of social distancing. Every school will follow a specific Meet and Greet schedule which is detailed below for TJS. Meet and Greets will occur behind the school building near the black-top and field area.

September 21, 2021- KRS Back to School Night at 7:00 pm
September 29, 2021- TJS Back to School Night at 7:00 pm
September 30, 2021- CAS Back to School Night at 7:00 pm
