Dear MJS Families:
It is with sincere pleasure and great honor that I join the Madison Junior School community as principal. As an educator and parent of three children, I am inspired by the ability to have an influence over students’ development through their years in which they are becoming independent young adults. Prior to joining Madison, I served as assistant principal in Pearl R. Miller Middle School in Kinnelon and principal in John Hill School in Boonton. I have been very fortunate as I have enjoyed working with staff, students and parents to support students inside and outside the classroom.
As a principal and lead learner, I value the opportunities that education can provide. I am a proud Explorer as I graduated La Salle University in Philadelphia with a B.A. in English and Secondary Education. From there, I earned my master’s degree from Montclair State University in Administration and Supervision. Finally, I received my doctorate from Rutgers University in Educational Leadership, Theory and Policy.
I’m a proud father of three young children. My son and twin girls love going to see the Giants and Mets play as we are huge sports fans. I also grew up in Hanover Township which has allowed me to be familiar with the values that are important to Madison. As I learn more about MJS and the Madison community, I look forward to working with staff members, students, parents and guardians towards a shared vision. With that, I am very excited and eager to work together towards the commitment to the continuous achievement of all students. I look forward to the important work of learning, community building and teaching with you.
