como te llamas?
    Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to “La clase de Español”  2018-2019.  My name is Señora Arosemena and I will be your child’s Spanish teacher (maestra) this year!
I am very excited to be part of this Spanish Program here in the Madison School District! I would like to share a few things about myself. I was born and raised in the land of the Incas, Perú. I love to travel and teach Spanish and my goal is for my students to understand the importance and value of a second language. Learning another culture can be a lot of fun and a rewarding experienceJ. I have been teaching since 2005, and I earned my Master’s degree from The University of Granada, Spain. I love teaching elementary school because I enjoy the challenge to instill knowledge at a young age, challenging young minds and hearts and hopefully make a positive impact in my students’ lives.

The students will have Spanish class once a week. My class will be conducted in Spanish. Throughout the course of the year, the class will be taught in units. Students will practice utilizing the computer with games via my website , partake in different types of activities, worksheets, songs and through assignments.

Units of study, assessment, classroom rules and more information can be found here on my website.

I am looking forward to working with your child this upcoming school year. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to know more about the curriculum or expectations. My email address is arosemenai@madisonnjps.org

    ¡Muchas gracias, for your support!

    Señora Arosemena
