Tutorial (Extra Help): A Days during lunch in G-58/C Day Block 1 (CAFE)/D Day Block 5 (CEF)

This course is a college preparatory science class designed for students who would like to develop an understanding of the fundamental nature of their surroundings. The content is centered on the major concepts in chemistry including quantitative relationships. The course attempts not only to give an understanding of basic principles, but also to develop critical thinking skills through problem solving, small group discussion and laboratory experimentation.

This course is a college level Chemistry course and is designed as such.  There will be content matter discussed and laboratory exercises will be provided.  The course will cover topics relating to the structure of the atom, periodicity, chemical bonding, molecular structure, states of matter, properties of solutions, chemical reactions, stoichiometry, kinetics, thermodynamics, equilibrium, acid-base chemistry, nuclear chemistry and electrochemistry.  Descriptive chemistry is also covered.  It serves to illustrate the concepts and to provide real world applications.

**Please see the appropriate tab for more information about your class.  Most materials will be uploaded through Google Classroom.**
