Welcome to Physics with Ms. RawdingMonday, September 16, 2019
Physics is a laboratory science course designed to introduce all students to comprehensive, quantitative and conceptual understanding of physics. Students will examine, explore and learn to explain real-world phenomena using the core concepts of physics. Physics provides students with a solid foundation and preparation for future study in all branches of science as well as a second year Physics course. Students study the major units of physics, which include motion and forces, gravitation, momentum and energy, rotation and torque, electrostatics and DC electric current and magnetism, waves, sound and light. Students should build upon their existing knowledge of relationships in the physical world and learn to interpret these relationships and make predictions based upon their analyses.
Periods 1, 4 and 5Class assignments and announcements will be posted on Google Classroom
