Leslie has been a member of the Madison Board of Education since January 2014. Since
January 2018, she has served as the Board President. During her time on the Board, Leslie has served on the Human Resources Committee, Negotiations Committee, Operations Committee, Policy Committee, and Shared Services. She has also served on several ad hoc hiring committees and the 2015 Strategic Planning Committee.
Leslie has lived in Madison since 1997 and has two children. Her older son graduated from Madison High School in 2018. Her younger son is currently a junior at Madison High School.
Leslie holds a BA in English and BS in Political Science from Seton Hall University and a JD from Seton Hall School of Law. She has over 25 years’ experience in labor and employment law, and represents management in employee-related areas including discrimination and harassment claims and litigation before State and Federal agencies and courts; counseling, training and drafting of employment contracts, policies and manuals; labor negotiations and arbitrations; mergers, reorganizations and reductions in force; and State and Federal wage and hour and OFCCP audits. Leslie is currently a Staff Attorney with Day Pitney LLP.
During her time in Madison, Leslie has been an active volunteer in the community, including as Assistant Treasurer and Treasurer of the CAS PTO and the chairperson of a number of CAS PTO fundraising events. Leslie has been commissioner with the Downtown Development Commission since 2016.

Heather has served as a member of the Madison Board of Education since January 2018. She was elected Board Vice President in January 2019. During her time on the Board, she has been a member of the Education, Operations, Shared Services, and Negotiations Committees.
Heather has lived in Madison since 2015 and has three elementary-age children in the Madison school district.
Heather has a BA from Bryn Mawr College and an MSc from the London School of Economics. Previously, she was an Executive Director in the Technology division of Morgan Stanley. Within IT, her focus was on service and support, product delivery, and project management.
During her time in Madison, Heather has been an active member of the PTO, volunteering often in her children’s school. She also helped lead the PTO project to fund a major playground upgrade to the school, which will be installed in Spring of 2019.

Sarah has served on the Madison Board of Education since January 2019. She currently serves on the Education and Policy Committees.
Sarah moved to Madison in 2011 with her husband and partner Owyn. They have two children who attend Kings Road School.
Sarah holds a BA from Hamilton College (NY) and a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies (MALS) from Dartmouth College. Sarah has over 15 years in education as a classroom teacher, administrator and in nonprofit management. She is excited to be working as a member of the Madison Board of Education in addition to her job as the Director of Community Service and an Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate Humanities teacher at Newark Academy in Livingston.
In addition to her work on the Board, Sarah has served the Madison school district as a founding member of the Kings Road School Green Team and the Garden Coordinator. In this capacity she helped integrate the garden into the school community by writing the garden curriculum and running the parent volunteer group that maintains the garden and helps teach lessons. She also served as a room parent and has volunteered at the school on various capacities. Sarah is an active member of the PPEC, an advisory group of parents with children involved with the Special Services Department in the Madison School District.

Johanna has been a member of the Madison Board of Education since January 2014.During this time she has served on the Finance/Operations Committee, the Policy committee and the HR committee.
Johanna and her husband Brian have lived in Madison since 2001. They have a son who graduated Madison High School in 2017 and and a daughter who is currently a sophomore.
Johanna has a BS from The Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from St. John’s University in New York. She had a 12-year career in the supply chain management field with Merck Pharmaceuticals and Philips Electronics B. V. Her emphasis during that time was on inventory management, budgeting and sales forecasting. She currently works for Arseneault & Fassett LLP in Chatham, NJ.
Throughout her time in Madison, Johanna has been an active volunteer with school and community organizations. She has previously served as treasurer of the TJS PTO and Madison Music & Arts, served on several fundraising committees for the Marching Dodgers Booster Club, and is a member of the Garden Club of Madison. From 2014-2017 she served on the Bottle Hill Day committee, coordinating the live entertainment. In her free time, Johanna gardens, plays french horn and piano in area ensembles, and is involved with her church community.

David has served as a member of the Madison Board of Education since January 2018. During his time on the board David has served on the Education and Operations committees.
David has lived in Madison since 2013 and along with his wife, Laurel, has two sons, one currently enrolled as a 7th grader at Madison Junior School and a 3rd grader enrolled at Torey J. Sabatini Elementary School.
David earned his undergraduate degree from Hobart & William Smith Colleges and his Masters degree from New York University. Currently David serves as the Executive Director for District Administration, providing leadership support and guidance to school districts across the United States. Prior to his current role, David was a senior managing partner at Gartner Inc. and led their K-12 Education practices and supported the development of organization-wide strategic plans for districts across the United States.
Prior to his role as a Madison board member, David served as a member of the district’s 2015 strategic planning committee, served as a hiring committee member and served as a K-12 education subject matter expert on various topics for the district’s superintendent, board, curriculum director and director of technology.

Tom has been a member of the Madison Board of Education since January 2016. During this
time he has served on the Finance/Operations committee, the Policy committee and the
Tom has lived in Madison since 1989 and has twin girls. They are currently enrolled in sixth grade, for the 2018-2019 school year, at the Madison Junior School.
Tom earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from Northwestern University and his MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business. He earned his PhD in Economics from the City University of New York. Tom currently works as an adjunct assistant professor at Baruch College in Manhattan, one of America’s most diverse institutions of higher education. Before that Tom worked as a fixed-income portfolio manager for two Fortune 500 financial firms.
In addition to his work on the Board, Tom has served the Madison community in various roles. Since 2014 he has been a member of the Borough’s Open Space, Recreation, and Historical Preservation Advisory Committee, and he continues to serve in that position.

Abi has been a member of the Harding Township Board of Education since January 2015. During his time on the Harding Township Board, he has served as the Chair of the Finance & Facilities and Technology committees and worked on various other committees. Since 2016, he has also served as the Harding BOE’s appointed representative on the Madison Board of Education.
Abi has lived in Harding since 2014 with his wife, Catherine. They have 3 children (8th grader, 6th grader and a 2nd grader) who are all enrolled in the Harding Township School.
Abi earned his undergraduate degree from the College of Engineering at Cornell University and his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business. He currently runs a private investment firm that specializes in equity investments in a range of industries. In prior roles, Abi worked in various roles in large multinational technology companies.
Besides his board activities, Abi is active in various local organizations that support an interest in engineering and automobiles.
Pam has served as a member of the Madison Board of Education since January 2018. During her time on the Board, she has been a member of the Human Resources, Education, Shared Services and Negotiations committees.
Pam has lived in Madison since 2005 and has three children. Her oldest is at Madison High School, her youngest is at Madison Junior School and her middle child at Seton Hall Prep.
Pam holds a BA from Union College (NY) and a MBA in Management from Fordham University. She has 20 years of experience in Human Resources management in both consulting and corporate, with expertise in talent management, learning and development and diversity & inclusion. She is currently a senior vice president in HR at a Fortune 500 global insurance company.
In addition to her work on the Board, Pam has served the Madison community in several volunteer capacities, including as Treasurer of the Kings Road PTO and KRS Girl Scout Troop leader. She is also an American Corporate Partners mentor, mentoring military veterans as they transition to the private sector.
