Project Empty Bowl

Be part of MHS's Annual Project Empty Bowl
1 in 6 kids in America struggles with hunger. "We all have different strengths to share in the fight to ensure every child in the United States gets the food they need. Whatever your strength, there’s a way you can share it to help kids." MHS Ceramics students and Advannced 3D Design students, in collaboration with the World Language Department, want to be part of the solution. Ceramics students have created handmade bowls, pet food bowls, and serving accessories that will be up for donation at the World Language Gala on February 28th. Advanced 3D Design students have added to our selection with beautiful wood burned spoons! Every dollar we can raise will provide 10 meals for a child in need. All proceeds will be donated to No Kid Hungry, Share Our Strength.
Our bowls will be showcased in the MHS lobby starting on February 15th. Reserve your own child's masterpiece and perhaps a beautiful bowl or wooden spoon made by another student, one of your favorite MHS teachers, or even your favorite coaches.
Last year we raised enough money to purchase over 12,000 meals!
Please help us top that this year. Your generosity can make a difference in a child's life.
