Frank Perrone, Principal

PRINCIPAL

I am excited to introduce myself to you as the Principal at Madison Junior School. As an educator and leader I continue to strive to inspire an inclusive learning community that inspires growth and innovation. I am honored to be a member of the MJS community, which continues to have a long-standing history of success and a commitment to providing an engaging learning environment for all. I continue to see the passion and enthusiasm that the MJS learning community brings to our students on a daily basis.

I started my education journey as a K-6 general music teacher in the River Edge Public School District. I spent seven years sharing my love of music with the River Edge community while building an engaging and positive learning environment within my classroom. I spent six years as the District Supervisor of Visual and Performing Arts Supervisor in the Randolph Township School District. Supporting the growth of all staff and students, developing rigorous yet attainable curriculum, providing an enthusiastic approach for instructional technology and supporting the development of innovative programs throughout the VPA department are accomplishments in Randolph that I am proud of. I started in Madison as the Assistant Principal of MJS in August 2021.

Away from work, camping, hiking and being on the water are some of my favorite outdoor activities. I enjoy learning new things especially when it comes to technology. My wife Shannon and I have a 5 year daughter Amelia and 2 1/2 year son Braden who have brought a tremendous amount of joy to our lives. Enjoying a delicious meal is one of my favorite parts of the day, however dessert always tops any meal, especially chocolate. Wellness and finding balance within my day to ensure I bring energy to all that I do is at my core.

It is my hope as I continue my journey in Madison that we will partner together to continue to provide our students with innovative learning experiences where they can explore and take risks to help them grow into well rounded adults. I will strive to support each student with a positive, engaging, and supportive environment so that every student feels safe and excited to learn during their time at MJS.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out at any time as my door is always open. Together we will continue to make MJS a wonderful place to grow and learn.
