Good Afternoon, As you have been informed, our district, in collaboration with our support system, continues to monitor the weather. The National Weather Service (NOAA) data indicates the weather on Friday will extend the heat advisory. To provide students, faculty, and staff with a healthy school environment, we will implement a modified schedule on Friday. Please note the following: · Each school will follow an early dismissal schedule. · There will be no PM Pre-K program on both days. · Each principal will distribute specific information for the school. · Lunch will not be served on either day. · If your child participates in sports at MHS, your child will be notified by either the coach, Mr. Drechsel, or Mr. Scheifler. · There will be before care in the morning, but no after school care on both days. Thank you, Johanna S. Ruberto

MPS kicked off its "Opening Day" in style, 80's style that is! Some of our very talented staff took us back in time with a colorful musical performance, followed by introductions, recognitions, and words of wisdom from Dr. Ruberto and the rest of the administrative team. Enjoy the last few days of summer...Tuesday will be here before you know it!

The Madison Board of Education is happy to announce the creation of our own in-house Student Transportation Department and welcomes Mr. Bill Gilbert, who will serve as the district’s Transportation Coordinator. For the 2023-2024 school year, several routes will be supported by our own buses as well as those that continue to be operated by outside vendors. We will provide transportation for our athletes, for students traveling to field trips, special events, and many other activities that support classroom learning.

Madison families, The MPD and the Morris County Prosecutor's Office have confirmed that it is appropriate to end our shelter-in-place exercise. The MPS K-8 early dismissal for conferences will occur as planned. K-8 conferences will also continue as planned this evening. In an abundance of caution, there will be an increased police presence at the schools and throughout Madison during the K-8 early dismissal and throughout the day.
