The Memory Project
AP/Honors Studio art students created portraits for children in Honduras as part of “The Memory Project”. The Memory Project invites high school art students to cultivate global kindness by creating portraits as special gifts for children around the world. These portraits help the children feel valued and important, show them that many people care about their wellbeing, and provide them with a special childhood memory for the future. Click here for a video of the Honduran children receiving their portraits.
College Merit Scholarship Recognitions
Any senior that is receiving a merit scholarship, not financial aid, from the college they plan on attending or a scholarship outside of those offered through Madison High School, please reach out to Ms. von Doussa (vondoussam@madisonnjps.org) in Guidance by Friday, May 9th. Seniors must submit a copy of the official letter or announcement of the award, which must include the name of the college or educational institution or organization awarding the scholarship, the name of the student, and the name and amount of the award. (The amount of the award will not appear in the program.) We would like to include this information in the Graduation Booklet that is distributed at graduation. If there are concerns about obtaining that information prior to the deadline, please reach out.
