MPD Training at MHS
Please be advised that on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, Madison High School will be used as a location for a scheduled public safety training drill. This is a collaborative exercise involving uniformed personnel from the Madison Police Department and the Morris County Sheriff's Department. The purpose of this drill is to allow our local law enforcement agencies to practice and refine their emergency response protocols in a realistic setting. As part of the exercise, you may observe a large presence of marked police vehicles and uniformed officers on or around school grounds. As a reminder, school is NOT in session on this day, however there may be practices for those students not observing the religious holiday. Outdoor practices will not interfere with the scheduled training and teams that practice indoors will have their practices scheduled outside the times training will take place. This is a planned and controlled training event, and there is no need for alarm or concern.
