Registration for the 2023 Spring Athletic season is now open. Any student interested in playing a spring sport must register including those that played in the fall and/or winter. Please review the Spring Sports Registration Memo on the MHS homepage for more information. The deadline to register students is Friday, February 17th.
Planning for the 23-24 school year is underway. The Madison High School Guidance Department is looking forward to meeting with you and your child in the coming weeks and building a schedule that best fits your child’s needs. In an effort to help students plan for their upcoming scheduling meetings we would like to make available a number of important resources and deadlines posted with the 23-24 Scheduling Letter on the MHS homepage to assist with the scheduling process.
On Wednesday, November 9th, four student athletes will sign their National Letters of Intent. Congratulations to seniors Rileigh Baggett (Wagner - Girls Lax), Gwen Eilender (Elon - Girls Lax), Alex Reigle (Richmond - Soccer), and Tyler Shannon (Hartford - Baseball)!
Registration for the 2022-2023 Winter Athletic season is now open. Any student interested in playing a winter sport must register including those that played in the fall. The deadline to register and ensure that students are cleared by our school physician is Monday, November 7th. The first shipment of unit ventilators will arrive tomorrow morning, Thursday 9/2. As a result, the gym/football field side parking lot will be shut down to all staff and students for the duration of the day. All staff will park in the tennis court lot and students will be directed to MRC. The Media Center exit doors in the loading dock will be opened in the morning to avoid having students need to walk to the front of the school. In addition, the auxiliary gym will be closed through Friday 9/10. After delivery, the next several days will be used to place these units in their classrooms and made ready for installation.
