KINGS ROAD SCHOOL SCHOOL COUNSELING
Hello!
My name is Brett Levine, and I’m proud to serve as the School Counselor at Kings Road School. I’ve been part of the KRS community since September 2019 and have worked in the Madison School District since 2005.
As the School Counselor, my mission is to support the emotional well-being and personal growth of all students. I lead classroom guidance lessons focused on kindness, empathy, emotional regulation, and anti-bullying. In the upper grades, I also incorporate important life skills such as public speaking, gratitude, and making confident eye contact.
Each day between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, you’ll find me in the cafeteria or out on the playground, helping to ensure lunch and recess run smoothly. I also run lunch groups during this time, providing students with opportunities to build friendships and strengthen social skills.
In addition, I work closely with our Child Study Team to help ensure students with IEPs receive the support and services they need to thrive.
Outside of school, I love being outdoors—whether it’s hiking, running, or playing pickleball. I’m also the proud father of two boys, Ryder and Jackson. My favorite book is The Kite Runner, and my favorite movie is The Shawshank Redemption.
I am always just a phone call or email away. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions, concerns, or if your child needs support. I’m here to help every step of the way.
Warmly,
Mr. Brett Levine
