PARENT TEACHER STUDENT ORGANIZATION (PTSO)

Teamwork is essential to building our school community and creating a positive memorable experience for all our students. The NFHS research has shown, “supports of higher levels of school spirit is tied to higher student achievement and social engagement.”  Let's work together to foster that sense of belonging and Dodger spirit!

How we do it...

We assist in the facilitation of the big and small ideas that our student leadership councils come up with to enhance the school climate. What may seem trivial like ice cream trucks, prizes and prize launchers, pumpkin painting, school decorations, teacher appreciations, dances, and scholarships have a direct beneficial impact on MHS students' morale and performance, but fall outside of the MPS District budget. Together, our students work to shape the culture of their school; prom fund-raising, pep rallies, and service projects are just a few of the many tasks that fall under the purview of the student leadership. Their Dodger pride is always front and center, but we need your support to reach their goals. ALL of our students benefit from your generosity, however you choose to partake. Thank you and welcome to our MHS PTSO Team.
